Our client, a nationwide leader in the commercial construction and building industry, has an immediate need for a Junior Outside Sales Rep to work in a well performing territory located in Atlanta, GA. The company has a long track record of success as a leading commercial construction contractor, and a fantastic name in the industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop a lucrative sales career, working for an industry leader in a very financially successful industry sector. As a Service Sales Rep, you will have an opportunity to come on board in an Outside Sales Role, working in an assigned territory alongside a more Senior Sales Rep. This Senior Rep will serve as your mentor, helping you develop and close sales leads in the field. In terms of the actual day to day sales role, this is strictly commercial, business to business sales. You will be selling a building / construction service to commercial customers. While you will report to the office once or twice a week for sales meetings, the bulk of this role will have you out in the field. While in the field, you will work on both new business hunting and prospecting as well as handling the needs of existing customers. You will also have leads provided and qualified as the company has a strong inside sales team. As an industry leader, they also have a fantastic marketing program that develops leads and prospects for the sales team. Through mentorship, training and success, this Service Sales Rep will be put on a path for career growth and development in this role and company.
Compensation for this position will include a solid base salary around $50k. On top of this base salary will be a lucrative commission package that should take a performing rep into the $75k-$85k range in total annual compensation. Additionally, the company provides a company paid vehicle, cell phone, laptop, gas card, client expense account and full comprehensive benefits that will include medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off and more.
In terms of requirements, our client is looking for either a background in business to business sales, with 2-3 years of sales experience in any industry OR an operations or estimating background within the commercial roofing industry, with a desire to learn the sales side of the industry. Either way, our client is looking for candidates more on the junior side of the experience level, with no more than 3 or 4 years of professional experience. While a Bachelors Degree is a plus, it is not required for this role.
