Our client, an international manufacturer of automation products for the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, has an immediate need for a National Sales Manager for their U.S. headquarters. This exciting company is embarking on a significant expansion here in North America, which is why they have created this new position. The ideal home base for this role with be in the Atlanta, GA market, as this is where their United States headquarters is. However, for the ideal experienced candidate, the company would consider a candidate that lives outside of Georgia.
As the company’s National Sales Manager, you will be tasked with spearheading the company’s sales growth throughout North America. Over the past few years, the company has developed a premium dispensing solution for the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry that will greatly improve their client’s processes. The product has hit the market with much early success and excellent reviews. Using this as the initial momentum, the National Sales manager will focus on building and implementing a sales strategy to maximize the growth of the equipment sales. This will include hunting for new business, managing and growing deep relationships with accounts, networking, increasing brand awareness through trade shows, becoming a product line expert, market research, bringing new strategies to the market and more.
Compensation for this position will include a strong base salary in the $80k-$100k, depending upon experience level. The position will include a generous bonus and commission plan as well. In the first year, the company is guaranteeing an additional $25k in bonus. This number will grow significantly in year two and beyond. In addition, the company is offering an excellent benefits package that will include healthcare insurance, 401k, cell phone, laptop, company car, travel expenses paid, generous paid time off and more.
Requirements for this position include a Bachelors Degree in technical related field, along with at least a few years of successful sales experience selling a technical / mechanical product into the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate in this role will have a strong contact base within that specific industry sector. Candidate will also need to have a willingness top travel up to 50% of the time. A Masters degree is a plus, though not required.
