Employee Benefits Account Manager - Innovative and Growing Insurance Agency. Hunt Valley, MD. Base $55k + Bonus, Benefits. 

Our client, a small and strong independent agency located in the Hunt Valley/Towson area, has an immediate need for a skilled Account Manager to handle their Employee Benefits customer base.  As for the client base, this is almost exclusively small groups, under 50 total employees.  This is a pure customer service role, working with the existing groups to handle their service needs on a daily basis.  Providing exceptional customer service is key to this role. 

In addition to the key focus of this role being Group Health, the person in this role will also be cross training in the agency’s commercial lines and personal lines operations on the Property & Casualty side as well.  As they are a small agency, teamwork is key, so everyone is trained to help out where needed.  This will also allow employees within the agency to grow and develop real careers within the organization.  This is a very progressive agency, and a wonderful work environment, far different than the average firm.

The base salary will be flexible depending on experience, and will be in the $45k-$55k range.  In addition, the company also offers a quarterly bonus program and a solid set of benefits including medical, dental, 401K, paid vacations, tuition reimbursement, continuing education fully paid, health club membership, and more.  This is a great opportunity for the right candidate!


To be qualified for this position, a candidate should have at least 1 year of employee benefits experience in an agency/broker or TPA environment along with an active Life & Health license.
