Construction Superintendent – Construction GC – Base Salary to 160k/year – West Palm Beach, FL

• Our client is a full-service Construction Manager and GC that is expanding their South Florida Operations.  They specialize in high end interior fit outs and luxury multifamily development, and pride themselves on team collaboration and an entrepreneurial culture.
• The Construction Superintendent is a crucial player in their Florida operations. This person will be responsible for planning/managing/building construction projects, and overseeing their progress from start to finish. They need someone with extensive GC experience, to include high-end interior fit outs. Ground up multifamily experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership for on-site field administration/supervision and technical management for all construction operations, including direct supervision of foreman, subcontractors, and other construction-related personnel on the jobsite
• Provide site coordination of all subcontractors and resources while ensuring successful installation of and adherence to drawings, specs, and construction schedule
• Ensure operating resources are within budget guidelines
• Maintain a safe workplace and promote and enhance client relationships
• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in the critical path to ensure timely completion
• Maintain a daily log of activities on the job site
• Perform Superintendent duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously
• Assist in budgeting, bidding, and awarding of subcontracts
• Assist in obtaining permits or approval for revisions
• Gather project material submittals and maintain records of approvals at the job site
• Identify areas of work that are outside of subcontracted scope or “scope gaps.”
• Preside at a pre-construction meeting with each subcontractor

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience as a Superintendent in interior fit out, ground up multifamily, or hospitality
• Superior communication and organization skills
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays depending on project demands
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
• Experience in Procore preferred
• OSHA 30 / SST preferred

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 100k – 160k/year range, dependent on experience
