Our client, a solid commercial services organization headquartered in Houston, TX, has an immediate opening for a Business to Business Sales Associate to grow professionally on their sales team.
Company Info: Our client is a fantastic locally owned company. They provide a professional service used by all types of businesses all over the Houston, TX market. The company has been in business for over 50 years, and have a fantastic reputation within the community. This is not a huge corporation, but instead a good strong local company. As such, you will work with and be mentored by the Director of Sales and other leaders within the company. You will be put on a path for both career and financial success, as the position has a very clear path for advancement and growth.
Position Info: In this role, the Sales Associate will work in a support role, working alongside a team of experienced Territory Sales Managers. They will come on board and learn the ropes from these experienced Reps, before ultimately having an opportunity to be promoted into a Territory Manager after around 12 months of development. This role will blend both inside and outside sales tasks, helping these Territory Sales Managers set up new client appointments, follow up on leads, and close more prospects. This is all business to business sales, working with both warm and cold leads. As the company sells a commercial service, you will be selling to small business owners and managers at larger companies, selling them service contracts to handle their service needs. This is a fantastic industry as you selling a much needed service to the businesses in the Houston, TX market. This role offers standard business hours as well, Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm. No nights or weekends.
Compensation: This position will offer a solid starting base salary around $40k. On top of the base salary, the role offers a solid incentive package that will pay for both appointments set and sales closed. In addition, this package will include fantastic health benefits, a car allowance, and gas allowance. There are some other solid perks as well including paid holidays, paid vacation, 401k and more.
Requirements: As this is a trainee role, previous sales experience is not required. What is required is a Bachelors Degree and a solid outgoing personality. Candidate needs to have a desire to grow and develop as a business to business sales professional.
